The Alachua County Hospitality Council is a non-profit organization that was formed as a way for dedicated professionals in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry to exchange ideas, promote events in our area and network to provide unique and memorable experiences to those who visit or reside in Alachua County.

We actively support and participate in National Tourism Week activities, including the Award-Winning Bed Making Contest, Chef Contest, and our Famous Amazing Race.

As leaders in the Hospitality Industry, we provide scholarships to students who are pursuing careers in our field, and support them with mentoring programs and internships as well.

Additionally, we raise funds for local and national charities and host events to support our local community.

Our Mission Statement:

• To Facilitate and develop hospitality related revenue growth in Alachua County.
• To Foster a co-operative effort within the hospitality industry by promoting an opportunity for the exchange of ideas.
• To Create a forum for two-way communication with the Visitors and Convention Bureau.
• To Assist members in improving their professional performance through timely educational development within the local hospitality industry.
